Some of these old photos make me question why we ever bought this property to start with, and this shot is A #1 among them. Yuk yuk yuk!
After we redid this view it looks a million times better. However the plantings along the house caused algae issues along the deck (this faces north) so we decided to remove them.
And this is how we have it now. It's a bit antiseptic looking, but the vines soon filled in and it looks much better
