Our yard of extreme potential- we have well over an acre fenced with six foot chain link- plenty of room for happy Wolfhounds, and nothing behind that section except our own little piece of wooded hills.

Sadly, the home was left in extremely poor condition- filthy doesn't begin to describe it.

The two HIDEOUS Paulownia trees in the front yard are outa here!

Three hideous trees were removed first thing. I could not BEAR looking at them.

They looked like Halloween trees, and they gave us nightmares. As much as I hate killing a tree, I am not a criminal.

The criminal is the IDIOT THAT PLANTED the damned things- the scale of tree to house was so out of balance that it hurt

Also in anticipation of our first winter a new fireplace insert in the basement.. and scads of chimney repair

Pacific Energy "Pacific (D-1) model insert heated our entire home! The furnace only kicked on once it got below about 10ºF, so we are thrilled. This baby puts out some heat! As transplanted South Floridians we were a bit worried about cold weather, but honestly- we've never spent a warmer winter anywhere.
